Cincinnati, Ohio, is where I was born and raised. I began my teaching career there in 2006 when I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Mount St. Joseph. During my first year of teaching, I taught a combined first/second grade class. From 2007 through 2016 I taught fourth and fifth grades at Sts. Peter and Paul Academy in Cincinnati.
At the end of the school year in 2016, my husband and I decided to move south to escape the cold, gray winters in Ohio. This new chapter in our lives has brought us to Cary, and I was fortunate to serve the children and families in the Durham Public School system in 2016-2017 teaching second grade.
My desire to express my faith in God as an integral part of my teaching has brought me to St. Thomas More where I am blessed to teach third grade. I am excited to be a part of the St. Thomas More family.
