5th Grade TeacherMStuitstmcsnc.orgMy name is Marilyn Stuit (pronounced Stite). I received my bachelor's degree in teaching from the University of Northern Iowa and my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. I began my teaching career in 1986. My first years of teaching were in the Nebraska and Kansas public and catholic school systems, where I taught grades 3-6. Since 2010, I have enjoyed teaching my fifth-grade students here at STM, a God-centered community in which I feel blessed to be a part. I am grateful for my wonderful supportive husband and our daughter who graduated from UNCA and is living and working in Asheville. My hobbies include reading, gardening, hiking, and running.
