I'm a North Carolina native and a product of Catholic education, attending both St. Leo and Bishop McGuinness in Winston Salem. I received my undergraduate degree from NCSU and received a Master's in Education from UNC.
Given my curiosity for the natural world and how things work, I love being able to incorporate this enthusiasm into the classroom.
I have two grown daughters and a wonderful husband James. I'm most comfortable when I am moving which has led me to boxing as a sport. I've now been training for over two years. I enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail, kayaking, and playing board games with my friends.
